Paying for an Alibaba Order

Pay for Alibaba orders with a Flowbit Online card.

Create an account or sign in to Alibaba

Go to alibaba.com and log in.

Select a product and start your order

  1. Find the desired product and seller.
  2. Click Start Order / Buy Now
  3. or negotiate with the seller and receive an Order / Invoice.

Check your payment method

  • Make sure the seller accepts Credit/Debit Card or Alibaba Trade Assurance (recommended). If the seller only accepts bank transfer, choose another method.

Proceed to payment

  • In your order, click Pay Now. Select Credit/Debit Card as your payment method.

Enter your card details

Please provide:
  • Card number, expiration date, and CVC — available in your personal account.
  • Cardholder name — your name in Latin characters.
  • Country: Select the country listed on your card: the United Kingdom or Singapore (as shown in the Flowbit mini-app)
  • Billing address — use the address issued with your card (displayed in the mini-app).
The address can be generated using a relevant service.

Change your IP address

  • To ensure a successful payment, you may need to connect via the United Kingdom or Singapore (the required country is displayed in the Flowbit mini-app)
  • You can find a suitable service in this selection of IP address changing services.

Confirm payment

Click Pay / Confirm. Funds are debited immediately. The order status will change to Payment Received / In Escrow (if using Trade Assurance).

After payment

  • Alibaba holds your money until you confirm receipt of the goods.
  • You can track your order in the My Orders section.

If the payment does not go through

Check:
  • the correct IP address has been selected;
  • that the card information and billing address are correct.
