
Paying for Amazon Ads
Pay for Amazon Ads campaigns with a Flowbit NFC card.
What is important to know in advance
- Amazon Ads is an advertising account, not a store.
- Payment is postpaid (spend → debit).
- If your payment is not going through, change your IP address to the Hong Kong.
- You can find a suitable service in this selection of IP address changing services.
Create an account or sign in to Amazon Ads
Go to advertising.amazon.com and log in. A new or pre-created account is recommended. Select the desired marketplace (US, UK, etc.). The marketplace and country may differ; this is normal for Amazon Ads.
Go to billing settings
In the Amazon Ads interface, go to: Settings → Billing & Payments or Account Settings → Payment methods.
Enter your card details
Please provide:
- Card number, expiration date, and CVC — available in your personal account.
- Cardholder name — your name in Latin characters.
- Country: Select Hong Kong
- Billing address — use the address issued with your card (displayed in the mini-app).
Change your IP address
- If your payment is not going through, change your IP address to the Hong Kong.
- You can find a suitable service in this selection of IP address changing services.
Set the card as default
After adding a card:
- Set it as the Primary payment method
- Check the Billing threshold
- when the threshold is reached
- or once a month (whichever comes first)
Launch your ads
- After adding a card:
- Create an advertising campaign
- Launch ads
- Costs will begin accruing automatically
If the payment does not go through
Check:
- the correct IP address has been selected;
- that the account country is set to Hong Kong;
- that the card information and billing address are correct.
