Create an account or sign in to Dropbox

Go to Dropbox.com and sign in.

Change the region in your account

  • If you already have an active Dropbox subscription, changing your region often results in the error message “This country change is not supported.”
  1. You need to downgrade to the Basic plan
  2. Change your plan to Hong Kong
  3. Update your payment information and pay for the desired plan

Go to the “Pricing Plan” section

  • In the “Pricing Plan” section, scroll down and click “Cancel subscription.”
  • Then, at the bottom of the page, select “Switch to Dropbox Basic.”

Pay for the Plus plan

  • After switching to Basic, the system will prompt you to select a paid plan.
  • Select the plan you want and click “Pay Now.”

Enter your card information

Please provide:
  • Card number, expiration date, and CVC—available in your account dashboard.
  • Cardholder name—your name in Roman characters.
  • Country: Select Hong Kong.
  • Billing address—use the address provided with the card (displayed in the mini-app).

Change your IP address

Complete checkout

After a successful transaction:
  • Your subscription is activated;
  • Access to your files and syncing are restored;
  • A payment confirmation from Dropbox appears in your account.

If the payment doesn't go through

Please check:
  • the correct IP address has been selected;
  • whether the account country is set to Hong Kong;
  • whether the card details and billing address are correct.
