Paying for Google Ads
Pay for Google Ads campaigns with a Flowbit NFC card.
What is important to know in advance
- Google Ads is a post-pay advertising account.
- Money is debited after an ad is displayed, not immediately.
- If your payment is not going through, change your IP address to the Hong Kong.
- You can find a suitable service in this selection of IP address changing services.
Create an account or sign in to Google Ads
Go to ads.google.com and log in. Your account country is determined automatically and cannot be changed directly.
Go to payment settings
In the interface, go to Tools & Settings → Billing → Settings. If this is a new account, the system will prompt you to add a payment method.
Select payment type
- Select: Automatic payments (recommended)
- This is the standard Google Ads mode:
- Ads → Expense accumulation → Write-off.
Enter your card details
Please provide:
- Card number, expiration date, and CVC — available in your personal account.
- Cardholder name — your name in Latin characters.
- Country: Select Hong Kong
- Billing address — use the address issued with your card (displayed in the mini-app).
Check your VPN
- If your payment is not going through, change your IP address to the Hong Kong.
- You can find a suitable service in this selection of IP address changing services.
Confirm and launch your ads
Once you save the card:
- it will become your primary card
- you can launch advertising campaigns
- when you reach the payment threshold
- or once a month (whichever comes first)
If the payment does not go through
Check:
- the correct IP address has been selected;
- that the account country is set to Hong Kong;
- that the card information and billing address are correct.
