How to Add a Card to Google Pay

Add your Flowbit NFC card to Google Pay and pay with your phone in stores and online.

Get a Card

Change the country in your payment profile

In your Google Play settings, find the “Payment profile” section and tap “Edit” next to “Country”.
This section is also available at payments.google.com.
Next:
  1. Tap “Create a new profile” → “Continue”
  2. Select Hong Kong
  3. Enter a billing address (you can generate one on the MockAddress website)
  4. Tap “Submit”
  5. Delete your previous payment profile

Add your card to Google Pay

  1. Open the Wallet app
  2. Tap “Payment card”
  3. Select “New credit or debit card”
  4. Tap “Enter details manually”
  5. Enter the card number, expiration date and CVC
  6. Below, enter the billing details from the mini-app (you can generate an address on the MockAddress website)
  7. Tap “More” → “Save and continue”

Verify your card

To verify the card, open Google Play and go to:
Manage your Google Account → Payments & subscriptions → Set up payment method
This will take you to the right section.
If the card you just added says “Verification required”:
  1. Tap “Verify”
  2. Then tap “Get code”
Try to receive the code by email first.
If the service asks you to call the bank instead, message support at @flowbitsupport1 and say you need card verification.

Finish the setup

Once linked, your Flowbit NFC Mastercard will be added to Google Pay.
You will be able to:
  • pay in physical stores;
  • pay in restaurants abroad;
  • use the card in online services that support Google Pay.

If the payment doesn't go through

Check:
  • that your Google account country is correct;
  • that the card details and billing address are correct.

    Select the region issued with your card in the app: Singapore or the United Kingdom.

  2. Make sure the region has actually changed.

    Use any service to check your IP

  3. Enter a billing address that matches the country of your card.

    You can generate the address using the appropriate service.
