Changing regions and your IP address

  1. To ensure a successful payment, you may need to connect via the United Kingdom or Hong Kong (If your card was issued in Singapore, you must use the country of issuance).
  2. You can find a suitable service in this selection of IP address changing services.
  3. After activating the IP-adress, be sure to verify that your region has actually changed. To do this, you can use the service: Go to the website or another similar site.
  4. You can generate a billing address for a specific country on this website

Creating a payment profile

  1. Sign in to your current Google account.
  2. Sometimes, adding a card to an account with a Russian profile may not work—in that case, you’ll need to create a new Google account.
  3. You can use a Russian phone number when signing up.

Set up a payment method

  1. Go to the “Manage your Google Account” section.
  2. Open the “Payments and subscriptions” tab and select “Set up a payment method.”
  3. Go to the “Settings” section. This section displays information about your current Google Payment profile, including your profile region.
  4. Click the pencil icon next to “Country/Region.”
  5. The system will prompt you to create a new payment profile—click “Continue.”
  6. On the next screen, select the country where your card was issued
  7. Next, enter any valid address corresponding to the selected country.
  8. You can find an address using maps or other online services.
  9. In the “Name” field, enter your real first and last name in Latin characters.
  10. After filling in the information, click “Submit.”

Add a “Subscriptions” card

Click “Payment Methods” at the top of the page, then select “Add Payment Method.”
Enter your card details under “For Subscriptions.”
  1. Your address and ZIP code will be automatically populated from your payment profile (the address must match the country in your profile—in our example, this is Spain).
  2. In the “Cardholder Name” field, enter your real first and last name, as it appears on your documents, using the Latin alphabet.

Complete checkout
