Paying for a YouTube Premium Subscription
Pay for a YouTube Premium subscription with a Flowbit card.
Create an account or sign in to YouTube Premium
Go to youtube.com and log in.
Change your YouTube settings to enable payment
- To access a YouTube Premium subscription, you'll need to make some changes to your account settings. First, connect a IP adress UK or Singapore.
- To ensure a successful payment, you may need to connect via the United Kingdom or Singapore (the required country is displayed in the Flowbit mini-app)
- After changing the region, the YouTube page will automatically reload. Next, go to the "Purchases and paid subscriptions" section. There, you'll see the option to sign up for a YouTube Premium subscription. Click "Learn More" and proceed to the signup page.
- On the right, the country is listed as “United Kingdom or Singapore,” and in the center, the subscription price is displayed in the currency of the selected country—$11.99 per month. Click the “Try for Free” button.
- Important! If your subscription has already been activated, the "Manage Subscription" section will appear instead of the trial period. You can renew your subscription here; the next steps are the same as those described below.
- If a virtual card hasn't been previously added to the Google Payments account used to access YouTube, the system will prompt you to add a new payment method. Select "Add credit or debit card" and proceed to the card addition process.
- Important! If a virtual card has already been linked to your Google Payments profile and has previously successfully processed payments, the system will default to GPay.
How to link a virtual card and pay for a Google subscription
- Let's consider a scenario where the card hasn't been previously added to your Google Payments profile. Fill in all the required fields to link the card and click the "Save Card" button. Excellent! If all the information was entered correctly, the card will appear in the list of available payment methods. Then, click the "Activate 3-month trial" button. The system will then notify you of successful payment and activation of your YouTube Premium subscription. Check your subscription status in your account to ensure activation was successful.
Please provide:
- Card number, expiration date, and CVC — available in your personal account.
- Cardholder name — your name in Latin characters.
- Country: Select the country listed on your card: the United Kingdom or Singapore (as shown in the Flowbit mini-app)
- Billing address — Use the address issued with your card (displayed in the mini-app).
Change your IP address
- To ensure a successful payment, you may need to connect via the United Kingdom or Singapore (the required country is displayed in the Flowbit mini-app)
- You can find a suitable service in this selection of IP address changing services.
If the payment does not go through
Check:
- the correct IP address has been selected;
- that the account country is correct;
- that the card information and billing address are correct.
